Colinton Parish Church Services
Our normal pattern of services are as follows: The Early Service The Early Service is at 9.30am on Sundays. The music is provided by the Praise Band and we use PowerPoint and other visual resources. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal. We have a crèche available and our groups for young people meet during this time and take part in the worship. Morning Worship Morning Worship is at 11.15am on Sundays. The music is provided by the organ and choir. While the service follows a traditional pattern, there are always fresh thoughts and new hymns. In style, this service is free to be more thoughtful and reflective. Sacraments Communion is served on the last Sunday each month during a joint service at 10.30am. Baptisms are usually celebrated on the second Sunday. Please speak to the Minister or contact the Church office for more details. Holiday Sundays On some holiday Sundays there is one morning service at 10.30am rather than two - please check the homepage for details. When there is just the one service, it is designed with the participation of all ages in mind. |
