Prayer is at the core of our activity as a congregation. It is a conversation between us and God - just like you would talk to a dear friend.
We pray for ourselves, for our neighbours and communities, for our city and country and for the world. We express our gratitude for all the good things that life affords us. We bring before God people who are unwell or who struggle. We pray for those in positions of responsibility. And we ask for guidance as to how we can best live our lives in service of God and others. Prayer can take different forms: - silence and contemplation - meditation - using words to express our feelings and concerns - spending time in nature As a church we offer to pray for others. If you would like to share a specific prayer request, you can use the form on this page. Please be as specific as you feel it is appropriate, always ensuring the right of others to anonymity. We look forward to hearing from you and will consider your prayer request during our weekly Prayer Space meetings. |
