The African Childrens' Choir paid a visit a few years back and performed for us and also enjoyed a meal in our cafe.
In 2019 there was a return visit from the Kamehameha School in Hawaii. They chanted their way in to the Church building and we were delighted to share cool drinks and Scottish shortbread with them. The students sang "Praise God from whom all blessings flow" in Hawaiian as a grace. There is, of course, a strong connection between Hawaii and Robert Louis Stevenson, as he visited Hawaii in April 1889. |
