Worship
Worship is the warm heart beat at the centre of any Christian community.
Colinton Parish Church puts considerable energy into sustaining worship which is:
- joyful – we are there to thank God for all that he has done
- thought provoking – we are all on a journey of discovery
- seasonal – different times of the year and of people’s lives call for changing responses
- biblical – we follow the Revised Common Lectionary
- varied – we draw on many different resources and traditions
In 2005-6 we are following a theme of “Footsteps” and a detailed guide for the whole year is available from the Church Office.
You will be very welcome at any of our services.
At Communion, the sacrament is open to any baptised Christian, including children, who can respond in faith to Christ’s invitation “Take, eat.”
